SagePlus™ by E2G|The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. was created in 2002 by our own industry-leading engineers to support our consulting practice. The program continuously evolves, based on the latest committee-approved changes. This often occurs before a formal publication of updates, as our experts serve as leaders on industry committees (API/ASME 579, API 520, ASME B31.3, and other relevant codes and standards committees).
SagePlus™ is a collection of analysis tools developed by E2G that runs in the PlantManager™ platform, allowing users to evaluate the design and in-service conditions of fixed pressure equipment. The software is organized in a series of packages targeting specific types of analysis functions.
Includes basic analysis of Shells, Pipes, Tanks, Nozzles and Flanges and Level 1 and 2 FFS for all damage mechanisms defined in API 579 for each.
Includes Level 3 brittle fracture screening and crack-like flaw evaluation, crack growth analysis and crack tearing analysis. FFS analysis per API 579-1/ASME FFS-1.
Includes equipment analysis for bellow and flanged and flued type expansion joints, bolted heads, clamped connections, header boxes, standard piping class definitions, flange, exchangers, drums, and towers per ASME Section VIII, Divisions 1 & 2.
Includes a number of stress analysis tools for nozzle stress analysis, burst pressure evaluation, pipe elbow flexibility and stress, axisymmetric shell evaluation, tube vibration evaluation, flange mating rotational analysis, wind pressure calculator, WRC pipe lug evaluation.
Includes methods for welding simulation analysis.
Includes an extensive material properties database and to perform analysis on materials, typically as a function of temperature.
Fluid property modeler, stored energy of pressurized system, steady state heat transfer and steam tracing.
