Integrate Custom DM Drawings Directly Into DamageWeb

Historically, the DamagePlusTM software has incorporated a set of standard Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) with markups and links to the different damage mechanisms referenced in the API 571 document. With the introduced of DamageWeb, mobile access to personalized DM drawings is now available.

  • Drawings can be packaged into folders and subfolders, corresponding to different units within the plant.
  • The damage mechanisms are clearly labeled, both on the drawing and the legend.
  • Hovering over one of the icons allows the user to directly access the section of the document relevant to that damage mechanisms.
  • Ensures all key plant personnel (inspections, operations, reliability) maintain a common level of understanding of applicable DMs in their equipment. This understanding helps personnel consider potential impacts of large operational changes on reliability of equipment.
  • Easily access industry accepted corrosion rate calculators and cracking susceptibility calculators for applicable damage mechanisms.

E2G Has Been Developing Integrity Operating Windows for Years

Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs) are established limits for process variables that can affect the integrity of equipment if the process operation deviates from the established limits. A thorough understanding of corrosion and other damage mechanisms is needed to establish IOW limits.
